Feÿ Memories

March 2020 came as shock to the whole world. But March 2020 also witnessed the launch of a superb experiment, a great breakthrough in the vast field of human permaculture. There are no right words to describe what we lived together. When such a touching group energy unfolds, there is something magical. Love and unity were overflowing, so much so that the departure of one person created a huge void. For each of us, happiness was just around the corner. How did we produce this alchemy?
We came together with this solid intention of creating a new kind of communal life, guided by stars named A Dinner With André, The Living Theater, Transition Towns, or The Society of the Spectacle. We wanted to demonstrate the power of human technology - but, not the one you think: our petroleum was our love surplus.
Many dearest memories bring me back to the kitchen. We have experienced extraordinary situations that shine in my memory as unique pieces, but it is above all in the kitchen, this place of constant new beginnings, that the depth of our ties has been woven. We were entering it for one reason, we were staying in it for another - a fundamental debate, a touching confessions, exquisite music, an opportunity to make thinks together, an aperitif, great laughs. This abundance found in the simplicity of daily life is the strongest mark of a fulfilled community.
And abundance was everywhere in our daily life. I remember too the pleasure we had to share our passions. To create together experiences, ideas, fertile grounds. To be immersed in the heart of these friendships that were forming and warming us all, to witness so much alignment, in relationships and in projects. To organize our “JT” and our Shabbats, to share our highlights and our gratitudes, all these rituals which quickly made us feel like a family. More simply, the pleasure that we had to see each other every day. I also cannot forget the joy of allowing ourselves to dream of new ways of living together, the pride of working towards their realization. And I remember all this nature that was welcoming us and bringing us so much serenity.
A great book has been opened, and this was only the first chapter. Many others have been written since, each one grounding the dream more into reality. I wish that the next chapters inspire even more those who will find Feÿ on their path. May this shining star continue to offer its magical reality, to cast on the world a new light, and to make everyone eager to transform themselves and, in turn, shine.
