Open Science in the AI Era: Shaping the Future of Research Together

As AI reshapes the scientific landscape, new challenges and opportunities emerge. Join us for a week-long immersive unconference, set in the innovative community of Feÿtopia, to explore how Open Science can evolve in tandem with AI advancements. This event will create space for deep reflection and dialogue on how practices such as open peer review, data sharing, and transparent code can foster collaboration, innovation, and uphold scientific integrity in an AI-driven world.

The convergence of AI-powered tools with Open Science principles unlocks new possibilities for researchers to navigate this evolving terrain, advancing both knowledge creation and trust. Throughout the week, participants will engage in thoughtful discussions that explore how the synergy between Open Science and AI can address the changing dynamics and needs of the global research community.

The event will incorporate unique movement practices (i.e human pyramids of course), to foster embodied collaboration - connecting, building on each other's strengths and balance collectively — mirroring the challenges and dynamics of Open Science.

Format

We’ll alternate movement sessions and thinking sessions. Please free up your mornings for this workshop. Afternoons are unstructured unconference-style, and time for solo work.
