Intimacy, in all its forms, is one of the basic building blocks of human life. Whether that’s the bonds of intimacy that hold a community together, or the intimacy in romantic relationships, this web of relationships is fundamental…
Join us for a week-long exploration of relational life at The Intimacy Lab. Through introspection, group discussion, and hands-on practice, unearth the relationship patterns that are shaping your life, and gain the tools to act differently.
The core program will occur over a week of evenings, guided by sex and relationship therapist Jem Stopes, with extra time for co-creating and learning with your fellow explorers during the daytime.
Inspiration for the lab comes from the work of Terry Real, Esther Perel, Marshall Rosenberg, Jessica Fern, Toko-pa Turner and others. Participants will be given the opportunity for peer support and learning, as well as concrete practice of new skills.
We will also take the opportunity to invite the wider community into a discussion about ‘The Future of Love’ - how have technology and politics shaped the landscape of love, what’s on the horizon, and what futures do we want to co-create?
The core program will occur at 5 - 7pm each day to allow participants to continue with their own work in the daytime.
